Welcome to EGA First Aid

EGA First Aid has been delivering high-quality first aid training across Essex and London. We offer a wide range of courses, including Emergency First Aid, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, AED, and CPR/Basic Life Support to a variety of different industries.

Our First Aid training courses are designed to fully comply with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, ensuring you and your workplace meet current first aid standards. We also adhere to the 2021 UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines, providing up-to-date skills. Our Paediatric First Aid courses meet the requirements for First Aid in childcare settings, as outlined by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.

EGA First Aid offers two types of qualifications:

Regulated Qualification: Provided through an accredited Awarding Organisation (TQUK), this qualification is fully regulated by Ofqual and is formally recognised by UK regulators. Regulated qualifications are often preferred due to their official recognition.

ProTrainings Qualification: This in-house qualification, while not regulated by a UK regulator, is fully compliant with relevant standards and offers an alternative for those who do not require a regulated qualification.

Types of Training & Prices

1

Open Courses

Our classroom training courses offer hands-on, interactive learning with experienced instructors at one of our training venues. Designed for individuals or groups, these sessions provide real-time practice, immediate feedback, and the skills needed to successfully complete the course.

2

In-House Training

We offer in-house training at your premises, workplace, or school. For multiple employees requiring the same first aid training, this is the most cost-effective and time-efficient option, with no travel costs and group discounts available. Our qualified trainers can visit your location and provide tailored courses to meet your specific needs.

3

Blended Training

Our blended training courses combine self-paced online learning with in-person practical sessions. After completing online modules, participants attend a hands-on classroom session with an instructor. Upon successful completion, learners receive their certificate. This flexible format helps you save time.

The survival rates for out-of-hospital cardiac arrests remain low, with only 1 in 12 people surviving. Early CPR and use of a defibrillator can significantly improve outcomes in this critical, time-sensitive emergency.
