The HSE now recognises blended learning for workplace-compliant courses, allowing part of the training to be completed online through interactive videos, reducing time employees need to be away from the workplace. Learners can progress at their own pace, from home, with training broken into manageable chunks that save progress as they go.

The interactive videos are compatible with smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Blended learning also offers the opportunity to rewatch videos for better understanding and provides a comfortable environment for those who may not feel confident asking questions in a group setting.

Below is a list of courses that can be completed entirely online or as a blended option, with the first part online and the rest in the classroom.
